What if?..

Hi, I wonder one thing:
If my main character will be a female, could she get in romance with some male NPC? If yes, then who would it be?

Yes, there is one.

Unfortunately, it's Anomen.

Yes, that's a common enough reaction.
They had intended to put a romance with Valygar in place, but didn't have time to get it done before release.
There are various NPC mods that include romances, however, both male and female.

Well, that had me laughing. I've heard that Anomen actually grows on some people....I've never understood how. Poor female players...
[quote="fable] They had intended to put a romance with Valygar in place"]
I've read that Haer-Daelis was another planned romance, as well (hence, the origin of the Aerie and Haer-Daelis love triangle was meant to include the female playchar as well). I have no idea if this is true, but it seems plausible.
SLIGHT SPOILER...
Still, I've never entirely understood why they created two different romances for Anomen, rather than just two seperate romances for female players.
As Fable mentioned there are several player made mods that expand the options for female PCs. For instance, modders at Forgotten Wars did create a
Valygar romance. More popular, however, are the
Kelsey and
Solaufein romances, both of which are well done player mods. Kelsey, in particular, fits fairly seamlessly into the BG world.

Anomen aren't that bad at all if he passes his test, he's just a little happy with him self.
But yeh, Faust mentioned "Kelsey". I'd say, that it's the best female romance mod ever made! You really ought to try him with or with out ToB, just remember it's 2 diffirent versions, however.

Kelsey, Solaufein and Tsujatha are great romances for a Female PC.

I think Kelsey is the best out of this group, both in style and content of the romance. Solaufein will just romance anything with less than 8 legs.

Well, being romanced by Korgan would sure be fun.
Especially since he has that great conversation with Mazzy concerning that subject ...

I can't imagine Korgan being very suave in his ways when it comes to romancing. He is more of the clunk the cave girl over the head and drag her home kind of character.

Not so. He'd probably get her drunk, ask her if she wanted to see the sturdy pike of a dwarf with a high constitution, and lead her to his room.

Wow, that's pretty sick coming from a Super Moderator, Fable. The "sturdy pike of a dwarf with a high constitution" line is really funny, though. You may be right about that. I guess dwarfs can't all be surly, otherwise they'd never procreate, right?

Sick? What's sick about discussing something perfectly natural? But on GB, we should keep it cool. Our host is in the US, and the way things are nowadays, a few complaints is all it takes.
So let's stay on subject. And I would apologize for the spam, except that you're all such a lot of spammers, too.
Incidentally, TCO, there are a few mods out there that provide female NPCs who aren't particular about the gender of the party leader when it comes to forging relationships. There's even one who will only form such a relationship if the party leader is female.

Well, have to love the political correctness of the mods then, right?
I'll have to check those out if only to read the convos between characters.
