what's with this scroll?!

Edwin and my guys defeated this funny lich in the tombs for a "nether scroll", he said he'll take it, but I can't see it in anybodys inventory, what's with this?!

It turns him in to a neither .Not man or woman .Plus he does have the scroll ,he just won't let you see it. Wait about 10 days and see what happens.
