ive been playing this game for a long time, and i recall a long time ago that i was able to recall teaching ignus his fire magic. i know its possible from the convo with TTO in the end, and ive seen it on various walkthroughs. but no matter what i do, theres never a conversation option that leads to it. i have like.. 20 int and wis, but all thats there are the default conversation options such as "what made you this way?" and "how did you end up in the bar?"

what do i have to do to unlock the conversation options that make me remember teaching ignus fire magic?

Did you get Ignus' story from Reekwind? I'm not sure, but I think you have to talk to Ignus about that first, then you get the options that lead to the memories of teaching him. (If you have already done that, then sorry for wasting your time)
