OK...so I am in the Spellhold dungeon area, and I dont have any stakes to stake the damn vamp....am I screwed or what?

search the kobolds near the crystal, one of them drops a stake

when you accept the quest form aran linvail to destroy the other guild he gives you 4 stakes. you there r only 3 vampires to stake down there so you have 1 extra. its a good idea to keep it with you.

There should be a stake on one kobold (kobold witch doctor/shaman?).Search thoroughly!!!

The Kobold shamin has the stake and if i remember right there somewhere else you can get one. Try typing in the vampire's name in the search option .

Still nothing...shaman only had a club, and there is nothing I can find anywhere else......

Im sure there is a console cheat command for stakes, im just not sure what it is. Maybe look around on all ht BG2 sites. I know its cheating but beats starting over

There was more than one shaman in the room. The shard summons another. I remember finding one on that level, I just can't remember exactly where. Sorry.

Shad, Fembot just had the same problem in the "Vampires" thread and she found some in the kobold room.

Don't you have shadowkeeper. You can just import a stake.

In the room at the end of the lefthand hallway once you're past the room where the vamps go after they 'melt', just before the stairs up, either in the chest or the desk....
