Something weird I've been noticing, is that the characters in my party, or my PC when it's under computer control, don't use their Force powers to their fullest levels. For example, if a character has Force Wave, the computer will often have him or her do Force Push or Force Whirlwind. (Never mind that upper tier Force powers are supposed to replace lower tier Force powers.) If this has happened on previous playthroughs, I didn't notice it.

Anyone have a clue what's going on and how I could fix it?

That's kind of weird, If you DON'T play as the npc's then they won't use their max force power.

i.e, If you have Juhani, Bastila and you're character, you are using your own character and you gave Juhani Kill, she will still use Choke or wound. And on Tatooine, the first time you are there, while the Space port guy is there, then Bastila, if she is in your party, will use Force Pursuade, IIRC then npc's can't have any type of pursuade skill.
