Pod racing bug?

I've got a strange bug when I want to do the pod race, because my pod keeps being in the air as if it was permanently jumping... It's quite annoying because I can't get the speed boosters when I'm off the ground...

This has been answered before but yes it is a bug and the patch fixes it.

the patch didnt fix it for me as far as i know, but if you press the jumpbutton once in the "starting pit", in the countdown, you should be able to run as normal. works for me anyways.

From the update readme:
Corrects an issue with the swoop bike getting stuck in air in
the swoop race mini-game
Haven't actually tested this so you could be right but I thought I'd prove I wasn't just making stuff up.
