I read that at the end of the museum when you do the Patron of the Acient Arts quest when you talk to Beckett, you should go over all the dialogue options, and you would get a Scholarship point.
I tried doing this many times and I never got a Scholarship point...
Maybe I'm choosing something wrong in the dialogue, or is it maybe because I already have a Scholarship of 3?
If I'm choosing something wrong in the dialogue, could someone please help me with that? As in what I have to choose.
Thanks.

Your problem is that your scholarship is to high. He'll only give a boost up to the third rank. So you're probably not chosing any dialogue tracks wrong. No worries, the extra scholarship point wouldn't have saved you much experience anyway.

K thx for the fast reply :)
I got 2 books I have but can't read yet, cause I need research 6 and only have 5, and to get 6 I need to spend 8 or 9 exp points I think, so it would have saved me 8 or 9 :)
It aint much but it's something :p

Well I meant you would have only saved the 2-3 progression of experience points which isn't too high. Remember you can always bump your intelligence up to increase research, as well (which will occasionally be cheaper than buying the next rank of scholarship). Tactically, if you're taking the "persuasion" route (I always recommend either focusing on seducation, persuasion, or intimidation - not trying to do all three. Persuasion is probably the most useful.), this may or may not be worthwhile in the long run. Though to use the most advanced books, you're eventually going to have to raise intellgience anyway (and, again, using the advanced books may or may not justify the points spent on intelligence. It's relative to your character build).

Here (hands over the trigger for an AR-7, modded for full auto). Now about that billion...

OK, joke's over. I've *never* been able to get the extra point from Beckett in the Museum, and didn't really fret over it. I don't think that it's as simple as I've been hearing, though. You have that Beckett pegs at 3 points, but in every other case, to get training you have to follow a particular dialog route. Are you sure you've tried them all?

Shall life go on without a point?

I may have tried them all...a clue as to the approach would be nice as there are so many choices with Becket ACK! But what if he doesnt give the point unless you also have like 4 intelligence or something blimey like that UGH! That then just adds to the problem.
