I am currently in the ice palace lvl 2 in heart of fury mode and have just tried to cast "Animate Dead" with my lvl 23 wizard (Recently levelled) I noticed that instead of summoning festering drowned dead and apocalyptic boneguard, he is now summoning greater boneguard and zombie lords.... the same as my lvl 18 sorcerer. This has only started to happen since I installed the 2.01 patch. Please help quickly as this is making it almost impossible to kill the enemies (esp crystal golems).

Yes, unfortunately that is what the patch does. When you put the patch in, it downgrades the animate dead monsters, which is why many people choose not to install the patch.

If you choose to continue with the patch, you will have to find some other monsters for cannon fodder.

Would you happen to know when I will be able to cast the apocalyptic boneguard again, or at least how to uninstall the patch successfully? (I have tried to use system restore to before the patch waas installed but the patch was removed and I could still only cast the lower level monsters.

Reinstall the game, then, or have your sorc cast the monsters...
