There are a lot of nifty little tricks that people do in their posts that I would like to know how to do....Is there a "How To" section here somewhere that I can access?

For example, quotes. I did manage to sort of figure this out by searching on this board and by looking at "What is UBB Code", but it might be a good idea to have a "how to" section if there isn't already, for lame-o's like me who have been here for two months and finally just found the information we were looking for by accident

Another example is where folks say something like "That has already been discussed, look here" and "here" is underlined and takes you right to the topic. How do they associate the word "here" with a certain post on the boards? I don't believe I saw this in "What is UBB Code", unless I just missed it or misunderstood it, which is certainly possible...

When you are writing your post, take a minute and look at the screen where you write at.

1st. URL You need the http:// for the page you want to link to. I have took and linked this one to this page.

6th Email

7th Italics Used to italics your words.

8th Code : Someone else will have to explain this.

9th List-Item : Someone else will have to explain this.


10. Image To use this you need the URL of the image. The http:// of the image.
[img]NULL[/img]


Instant Graemlins give you the smilies with out having to type it in.
