why is edwin so good?
I currently have keldorn, kahera, minsc, valygar, aerie Should i dump anyone for him?

He is simple the best mage in the game, but he is evil(like all red wizards of tray)if you are going to play a good party, don´t take him(or do his quests for the XP and some fun). if not, welcome abord edwin. by the way if you are goin to keep him even jsut for some time kick minsc out or they eventualy will fight.

You do actually NEED identify???? Ohmnigosh...


btw. Edwin is cool and if your PC ain't a wizard of some sort, he can come in pretty handy. Fits better to evil or neutral groups, though...

I am looking for a spoiler now: I haven't used much of Edwin in my two games I am playing (simultaneusly) and that is cause in the one my main char is a sorcerer and in the other a thief(shwashbuckler)/mage, so given the fact I have to take Imoen with me (cause it is right from a roleplaying aspect, if you know what I mean) and that I believe in two mages/one all around/three fighters (maybe one of them a healer also) kind of party - well, this sentence is getting toooooo looooooong.
What I mean is, I never had the pleasure of watching the Edwin-Edwina thing. Could someone give me a teaser on that?

go to the house of that guy that starts the Chapter 2 and 3 (you know COOO)up the stairs go talk to the merchant and buy the glasses of indetification(indentifies objects 3 times a day), one of the best items in the game. a high lore rating also helps to intenfied objects.
about Hehehehe "edwina" afther he gets the nether scroll, he will begin to study the scroll afther some days he says that he begins to understand the magics, a day afther he says that he found a more "powerful transformation" no matter what you says he is going to try out, and he passes true a more "powerful transformation" he becames a women not only in fisical but also in mental atributes. the reactions of your party menbers are a blast.

Thanks Drak, now (well, not now, tommorow morning, when I get back to my comp. at home) I am going to get Edwin back in my party... I wouldn't miss THAT for anything (and definitely not for Anomen - he is the one that gets the kick )
