Just a thought... why is it that when you get armor like Exar Kun's or Ulic Qel-Droma's (sorry if I misspelled) you can't use force powers?
Why the hell would a Sith Lord have armor that doesn't let him use the force? It doesn't make any sense!

Some Jedi use only Force Powers that can be used in armor. It's simply another strategy that offers better defence but less possibilities with Force Powers.

You can still use force powers, but there are some that are restricted by armour therefor ou can't use them in armour.

no, I knew that. for example, throw lightsaber, force scream, kill, insanity aren't restricted. but some of my personal favorites. like force storm, death field, and knight speed, are.

Maybe those old Sith Lords only used those powers, or they let the armor depend on the fight. On though opponents, they wear armor, on easy ones they wear robes so they can Storm them all to death.

Well, to an extent, it bothers me, too. But think about junior high school science:
Metal conducts electricity.
Maybe using Force Storm when you are wearing armor isn't just a good idea. And, for those who mention fiber armors, etc., they can catch fire.

You would think that folks talked up as much as the Jedi and the Sith could chose who the electricty struck and exclude themselves pretty readily.
At the same time, I do agree with the question... Other then obvious game balance issues, why doesn't the force work with real armour? Is defeating a jedi as simple a matter as putting a couple metal bangles on his arms?
