How the heck do I get the doors open in Rayic Gethra's Home & the Galvarey Estate? I've looked for some kind of device to turn & looked for keys & can't find anything! =P I'm still in Ch 2, & I cna't figure thjis out. Am I supposed to go someplace ourside of the slums to find keys or any other device, or handle to open the doors? This is a stumper too. =P

Don't know about rayic but the other one can be opened with the Nalia quest if you have the stronghold.

weird his door should be open if edwin asked you to kill him. maybe try playing a save from before he gave you the quest and see if the door opens when he gives it to you this time =\

Wait I do know about Rayic. It opens with Edwins quest.

Edwin's quest? I haven't even come across Edwin's quest yet. I've pretty much covered the entire town except the docks. Is that where I can expect to find him? I'm still trying to figure out how to open the doors! =P

Ok, I'm really stuck. I went dow to the docks, Edwin is nonwhere to be found & Jaheira is continually being attacked by some unseen force! =P Possibly part of her curse?
Rylock is being a dork & won't let me in, & there's no way around the far left side of the docks to walk up by the stairs! =P What am I doing wrong, or am I missing something? Am I missing someplace else to look? I've been through ever place in the docks except the 2 I can't get into! =P
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Alright one thing at a time. 1 she is cursed . There is a little quest to solve that.2 Edwin will become avaible once you start chapter 3.

Rayic's door is only open when hes home. wait a litle while and try back at his house later

probably. try and find out. go to the shadow thieves guild and talk to Renal Bloodsalp (if you didnt know that already.)

Ok, I've been back to Rayicf's house several times now, & there's just no one home, & his door remains locked, no device to open it or the lock on the estate next door! =P When does this dude ever come home? When the cows do? LOL
I've been around to every place 3 times now & am simply racking my brains on how to get in & when I'm going to run into Edwin!
Either that, or my copy of BG 2 is seriously buggy & not letting me do anything! =P

okay lets start from the begining. did you talk to renal and accept his quest to expose mae'var? if so then did you get to the part where edwin tells u to kill rayic?

Yes, I talked to Renal & accepted his quest, but, Edwin has never shown up! I've been to the secret hideout of the shadow thieves in the Sea Bounty Taverm & willed the 2 parates in there twice! I also got 1100 gold both times, & now Nalia walked out on us too! She got tired of waiting for me to go & complete her quest & just walked out!
Can you see why I'm having a hard time? =P Questions, comments, cards & letters... LOL Thanks in advance for your help! =)
