That's a really dumb question, but I can't figure out what to do with it. I'm currently using the planar sphere as my stronghold.

Is that all?
What about if I have chosen Nalia castle? Can I choose both and have 2 strongholds?
Thanx.
P.S. Don't tell me how to free the knites. I'll figure that out by myself

I asked myself the same question...if you are fighter/mage, do you get two strongholds?

Actually I'm only a mage so I should probably get only the sphere.

You can get more than one stronghold but if you chose Nalia's castle first you can't get anything else. Maybe bug maybe something else.

You have to weigh how much differrence experience makes to your travels, these stronghold quests gather a lot of (needed) XP.

On dual or multi class characters, whichever stronghold you first choose, that is the only one you get. The one exception I have heard is Nalia's castle. There, you get the option to return later and accept the stronghold. After you do the de'Arnise keep, tell her you will come back later, then do your stronghold for your other class, then return to the keep and accept her offer. I haven't tried it, but I've been told it's the only way to get two.

no,that is not correct.if you refuse to take Lavoc ouside he will give you the planar sphere even if you have the castle.

Drakon is correct, and this works for dual and multiclass chars.
One game I played human fighter (getting that keep) and after changing to mu got that sphere (One has to refuse to bring Lavoc outside the sphere)
Another I played triple class f/mu/th and got first the keep and after that the sphere. And no, you don't get the thiefs guild as third stronghold, I tried it

Will I have to revert to an earlier save?
I went through the Planar Sphere and also set it going using one of the demon hearts. But, I forgot about Lavok and instead went talking to the Knights of Solamnia. They didn't ask me to help them home but rather accepted that they had to stay in my world...
I then went to Lavok, took him outside, got the Sphere as my stronghold and also the ring of acuity.
But I don't get the quest to help the knights, Teos the Cowled Wizard doesn't show up (I've waited for days) - and no apprentices...
Is that a bug? And can it be fixed without reverting to an old save?

Well...I don't know about the details, but I am a fighter/mage/thief and I did the theives strong hold and had no issues getting the fighters stronghold. I did not try mage yet.
