2x enemy hp mod?

Post by Borsook »

Hi I rember a mod for BGI that doubled all the HP for the "unfriendly creatures". I really liked that, and was wandering whether there is a similiar mod for BGII?

the difficulty in BG increases only the damage monsters do. If you have a fighter with high dex, good armour/weapon it does not matter how much damage they do cause they'll never hit you. If the have increased HP, they live longer so bigger the chance one of them will actually manage to hit your character.

Try The G3 Tweak Pack and particulary these components:
Maximum HP on Level Up
A component in the same vein as 100% Learn Spells, this will allow you to always get maximum HP on level up whatever the difficulty level. Unfortunately, due to the hardcoded nature of barbarians this component will not affect them.

Maximum HP Creatures (the bigg)
This component, based on code from the bigg, will alter creatures to have their theoretical maximum hit points. Creatures will get either a hit point total based on maximum hit dice rolls appropriate to their level, or their current hit point total--whichever is higher. The user has three choices with this component: adjust all creatures in the game, only those that can join the party, or only those that can not join the party. This component will affect all creatures in the game, including creatures introduced by mods.

There isn't a mod that does precisely what you ask, but since it is closest to what you asked I thought I'd give you the link anyway
