my rogue/conjurer can't learn spells?

I have a dual-class Drow Rogue(1)/Conjurer(3) with a 21 INT. Yet for some reason when I click on spellbook, there is nothing under Known Spells and it doesn't say Wizard or Conjurer at the top either. When I level up, it does not give me spells to memorize.
What am I missing here?
Thanks in advance!

ouch
unless a wizard started being a wizard as its first class, he or she must learn spells from scrolls. right click a scroll in your wizards inventory and click write magic. and presto! its in your spellbook. sometimes this fails though. when u click write magic a check is made on your spellcra.ft. the higher the spellcraft the easier it is to write magic. if you fail to write the magic then reload and try again until it works

ahh
Ahh, thank you. Good to know
Is that bad btw that I'm not given spells to learn and I have to buy/find them? If I multiclass as a wizard should I always start out as such?

hmm
i dont think so. im not an experienced gamer, but i've never had that sort of problem. personally i prefer sorcerors though. although they get less powerful spells and less feats, and cant chose which spells to use each day, you get a lot more spellcasts. its just more satisfying to be able to lob 5 fireballs at a horde of monsters that has already been swamped by shadow summonings and been struck by countless calamities. thats why i call my sorceress Calamity. funky name eh?but you shouldnt have problems with a wizard and some people prefer them. you'll find spell scrolls very often and in fact far from having a shortage of them you might be overloaded (might be a good idea to invest in a scroll case). scrolls can be pricey to buy but you won't have to do that often

I've read that it you are going to have a multiclass with Rogue as one of the classes, you are best off taking Rogue first, so you get the big bonus to skills. They only get this at the start.

.
..you did everything right!
- if you plan to take rogue levels take the 1st one as rogue!
- 1st level wizards only get very few spells for free
- you have to buy/find scrolls for wizards anyway and you will find them late in IWD2
- means: you could cast higher level spells then you could scribe with a wizard!
- therefore a drow and mixing-in other levels is quite a good idea!
- would go for:
a) wizard 19/20 - rogue 11/10
b) wizard 20 - rogue 3 - fighter 4 - barb 3
..this way you get very powerfull spellswords - btw. both better tanks & damage dealers then a half-orc barb X - fighter 4!
EDIT: only thing I'm not sure about is the conjurer!
...one extra spell per level is nice - but I would prefer to have access to all spells and choose a pure wizard!
