Is there any way other than back through the theatre to get out of the first city. Spent about an hour last night after completing all the local quest looking for a way out. Seems to me that I remember the gate closing behind me when I entered the sewers.

Step by step

Make sure you've done the following:

Deliver letter to temple
Save Augustine
Return to temple and talk to Paulus, after finishing dialogue, wait for him to go and open door to Celestine's room for you.
Get catacombs key and quest from her by exhausting dialogue
Do catacombs and retrieve relic
Go back to Celestine, talk to Paulus first so he will open door
Go visit mage and get letter for Davenmoor
Go to palace and talk to Davenmoor
Go upstairs in palace and talk to chambermaid
Go back down and talk to Davenmoor. tell him about his daughters escape
Go to inn and get more info on daughters disappearance
Leave via the West Gate, the one in Garrison District

See, nothing to it

Also, while you are in FarGrove, make sure you start planning your character progression. Note your 'Class Specializations' - you have 5 slots, one of which you chose at creation.
You get:
- 2 level 1 classes
- 2 level 2 classes
- 1 level 3 class.

Some level 2 classes have no level 1 (like Enchantress), which - taking Mage as an example - allows you to take a different level 1 like Fighter or Adept. But your level 3 class *must* progress from a level 2.

I don't get a key

Me and my brother play "Dungeon Lords" multiplaying (don't know if it makes any differences)...

We are stuck for allready a couple of days. We went to fargot and we had no problems at all to get there... We also delivered the letter to the monastry and saved that guy (seer augustus) and I have spoken to the celestine too... I've spoken about everything with her but still she gave me no key to the Catacombs yet... (neither my brother)
Am I supposed to get one from her?

I also have been to the castle but I once I am in, I am not allowed to continue without official papers or something

(I walked over the wall to get on the bridge, don't know if it is a bug?)

Can somebody help me please?

I'm not sure why the Celestine hasn't given you the catacombs key. She should give it to you after you've rescued Augustus. You may want to go back and talk to her again, just to make sure there isn't a conversation key that you accidently missed.

You won't be able to get into the castle until you've been to the catacombs first.

You might also want to try to visit the mage trainer (in the shop near the Moon Bridge in the same town zone as the Inn). You have to talk to him before you can get into the castle. I can't remember if Augustus directs you to him before the catacombs. You might also want to go back to Augustus and make sure you hit all the conversation keys with him. Might not hurt to give those two a try, then go back to the Celestine.

Wish I could give better advice, but it is my impression that you should get the catacombs key from the Celestine, after rescuing Augustus.

If you don't have the key, then you need to go back to the Celestine and exhaust all the conversation topics. She will talk about "an extraordinary path" or something like that, and another topic with the quest will come from that.

I will try when my brother is at home ...
I've ben to the wizard near the moonbridge too but there was nothing important to talk about with him...
but I'm sure I saved Augustus and I'm also 100% sure I also hit all the conversation tags with the Celestine... but I still haven't got any key... (neither my brother...) but I also haven't found the kings' daughter (should I??)...
though I will try everything you said again and hope I can continue ...
(you can get to the castle allready but it is kinda lame, because you can walk over the wall to get passed those gates without being opened...)

I don't know exactly where but I thought she said in the forest west of Fragrove, but I cant leave the town because the gates are still closed because of the missing daughter)

or does she mean the altar downstair? but I can't use the candle there... so I am supposed I should have got a key but she won't give me one...

it's not the wizard near the moonbridge, it's the one that is closer to the celestial temple. it's easy to get to. if you are at teh temple, walk on the path east (back the way you came), and exit the big door out of the cathedral area. it is called like, town centre or something, it is the same load-zone that the inn and the weapons shop are in. except don't go as far as the inn. as soon as you get into that load zone, turn left. walk about 20 feet north, and then turn left again (going west) at the corner, you will walk down a little hill and at the end of the alley there is a door with a symbol on it, go in there and that is the wizard you need to talk to .


p.s. it helps to actually read the conversations, as they HELP TELL YOU WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GO, instead of dismissing them "because they are boring". if conversations are boring then this isn't really the game for you, is it?

Ok, I am stuck in Fargrove and cannot get out. I have talked to everyone and done everything that was mentioned above. Here's the problem...I don't get the option to tell Lord Davenmoor about his daughter's escape. I only get the option about Okatta. I had restarted the game and am using a character from a different save, meaning she's a much higher level. I sold my moonstone to see if that would help, but it doesn't. I am using the 1.4 patch. Any ideas?

same problem here, started over playing multiplayer with much higher level characters, but now we can't leave the city because there is no option to tell lord davenmoor about his daughter. he just keeps saying that "I charge you with blah blah blah." stuck?
