can't open the box!

There's a box in the Alley of Dangerous Angles not far from the ruined temple to Aoskar. I tried to open it many times by different kinds of weapon and by using Annah's thievish skills - all in vain. What should I do?
Can I somehow use the stone from the head of the zombie-"post" at The Gathering Dust Bar or it's an unnecessary thing?

If I remember correctly, that chest contains nothing more than some coins and a blood clot charm. Nothing important
. I had the same problem as you however, I just returned later after gaining some strength, and I had aquired a trusty crowbar
.
I have no clue about the zombite post's head I'm afraid

Denethorn, thanks! I'm afraid the crowbar doesn't work as well. So I hope to gain some strength.
As for the stone, well, there're so many quests in the game, that I'm becoming paranoiac finding them even where they probably don't exist!

The stone has no use.

Thanks, Platter! You know a lot about PST. It's great!

I had Dak'kon cast Power of One, and it raised my Strength to 19. I was then able to force it open.
Pretty sure I used a weapon or something besides that crowbar...
It contained a Charm of Infinite Recall.
That is what is *Known* to me.

hahahahahah
first time i played through, i loaded morte's inventory with all kindsa crap--the zombie's stone, some cheese, bits of junk, dirty rags, all that crap from the rubikon, etc. kept it all for the entire game.
pretty sure if none of it does anything, besides the junk, of course.
and that's good writing--the game should have lotsa "red herring" items to throw us off the scent.

Sologdin, the same with me.
I had a lot of rubbish in my inventory. However, such things make the game more interesting.
By the way, are the sweets from Rubikon also useless? I guess they are.
CFM, Power of One is a good idea.

Hi, I'm new to the forum
I remember this time I managed to opened the box after I upgraded Dakkon (strength 18). To use Power of One spell is also a good idea...
The first time I finishes PT, I carried my intestine all the way to the Fortress of Regrets - wow!
...now I found out Ignus can use it to create a scroll for you to copy!

Since the original question has been answered and the thread has turned quite spammy I'm closing it.
