I am on a quest for the fighters guild to become a Lord. I need to defeat some guy and his army, but have not found him. Anyone know where he is? Also, does it matter what order you collect the Relics in?

several of the tier 3 class quests involve going into the vail of ruins so i there is a chance that they all are in the same spot. i had to defeat someone else, but he appeared in a valley along the west side of the vail. if you're looking at the world map the valley where the army could be is just south of where the rune alter is.

There is no particular order in which you have to get the relics. I started with the one in the vale of ruins, because of a warlock quest i also had there. I was supposed to whack some warlock and his army, I dont know if its the same guy your looking for but i found mine at the next valley west of the moongate. I think its best to just try all the valleys since there are only 10 of them, I searched them all before i could find the warlock.

Thanks skyraker, I think I explored all of the valleys on the east side, I will hit the west side once I finish going through the temple that is in the north.

Word of advice, in the temple you will find the relic of power. When you reach the part that resembled the one in Lord of the Rings: FOTR, get all the demon stones located in all the chests before you proceed to the balrog demon there are excatly 5 of them. You will need this so as not to back-track as there are falling/collapsing bridges and walkways.

be careful of the fifth one that you get from the boss in that castle at the end he dropped it in the water below and I was looking for another chest for hours before someone else helped me locate it. Luckily it was still there when I went back cause I was about to start over from a previous spots. Thank GOD there wasn't a bug where it just disappeared on me. (whew)
