Crystal stone for Shadow ruins

I'm at the Shadow ruins, but I don't know where is the Sea of Woe and the Isle of the Damned where is sopose to be the crystal, it says to the north, but when I go into the water I'm stucked by a kind of myst...Pls help me

If you have talked to Staroxia, she tells you that the way to get to the Island is through a secret passage behind the Tree Guardians (ENE of Grymlock).
However you need the Totem of Trees first which can be found in the far south of the Forbidden Lands

Thanks a LOT!! I have found once Grymlock but I don't remember where, can you help?!

ok in the northern steppes just north of lake dire is a red tower, that grymlock's tower, he is either in it or near his tower, but to get his memory back after you talk to him, you need to find staroxia and talk to her about him, she is in the most northern point of forbidden lands between skuldoon and the sagathian swamps

I just killed Warglaw and never took the totem trees. then those tree guys attacked me when I got to the western entrance of the lake of woe or whatever. once i killed all the tree guys (a long battle) I swam to the island, somehow got the krystal (still don't know how it ended up in my inventory) then i swam south of the small island and came upon the rushing waters. that shot me through the pass far south and i went to land and there was the shadow temple. I am stuck in there now! Can't get past the 3 big frozen athena statues in a room facing different portals. argh

Ok.. that one is pretty tricky, To wake up the frozen athena's you have to go in the "teleport" as are open, then find a way in there to a chest and open it, then find the exit and after that the first athena wake up, kill him and then another "teleport" is open, do the same thing in all teleports til your exit is open...
