Hi all,
I made it through the Skuldoon gate, killed Minas Taw and rescued the Knight peep (it was one of my Fighter's Guild missions). I was running a little low on heal potions, and wanted to get back to Arindale to complete the quest. So that's what I did (without completing the quest given in Skulldoon about the thimble of blood). So, got to Arindale, and then went back to Skuldoon to complete that mission, but the gate to the Forgotten Lands is closed again. Any ideas why?

searchng for thralls
what you need to do is look for the lil thrall guys who are supposed to be near the gatei find them stuck behind a support pole close to the gate, its funny how the AI dont know how to walk around things

Ahhh, I noticed that the thrall guys were missing from the gate. I'll take a look for em!
Oh, do you know if there's a Moongate in Skuldoon? I haven't been able to find it.

lol, sorry for the title, yes if you look at the map that came with the box set you see the name skuldoon, the area on the map between skuldoon and the black swamps has the moongate all the way in the end of it

The Moongate is directly east of Skulldoon. To get there go South from Skulldoon and follow the mountain first east and the north. You should easily find the Moongate.

normally, the southern gate of skuldoon always stays closed and opens when you approach. this is never a problem when heading south out of skuldoon but when coming back those thralls aren't always near the doorway so they don't sense your presence.
i found that if i wait a few minutes or move along the wall near the gate sometimes it will trigger the thralls the reopen the gate.

Great! Thanks everyone for your replies (about the thralls at the gate, and the Moongate, as well).
