I've seen several threads recently that state that the 1.2 patch should be released "this week" or "in a few days". I've been Google'ing on the DL patch for a while now, and I can't find any news other than references to the "Open Letter" on the (now closed) DC forums that stated it was coming in a few weeks.

Can anyone point me to an announcement or source which has more info about the status or release date? Where is this info coming from?

I'm a little concerned, given that the DC forums are still down, even though the date they were supposed to go back up, which is still prominently displayed on their forum homepage, has come and gone. It doesn't give me much hope that the patch will be on time (or even materialize).

you didnt read it right, it said the week of, and the original info about patch 1.2 is in the dreamcatcher forum, so you really wont find out what supposed to be on the patch from the horses mouth till the horse come back, or did they send it to the glue factory

This is the quote I found online:

"We are hard at work on Update 1.2 which will be made available for download in the coming weeks. Some of the items that are being worked on are the requested auto-map feature and the ability to customize your characters to a greater degree. A full game guide is also in the works which will have more information on quests, spells, locations and more."

If there was more to it, then I don't know, since I can't get to the forums. I found this same quote listed on several sites, so I assume that's all there was. There is no date listed - that's where I'm confused. All it says is "in the coming weeks". I'm looking for where this week was specified?

Actually, they did state on the forums before closing them some of what to expect from the 1.2 patch. It was expected to address over-spawning, automapping, framerates, quest logs, and balancing. Other matters were left unspecified, but presumably bug-fixing is a priority.
