Another question - wilderness

When I was talking with one of the shopkeeps in Fargoth, he told me that there are dungeons out in the wilderness that an explorer could go to in order to get experience and gold, etc. It was also mentioned somewhere that there are campfires in the woods where I can rest/sleep when needed between towns.

Now, I haven't played very far yet, but it is a long road from Fargoth to Arindale, and I've been up and down it once or twice, and I don't remember running into any campfires and/or dungeons.

Is this another missing feature, or am I just accidently bypassing these locations?

There is a campfire in Arindale to the North past the Apothocary on the east side of the river. There are no dungeons and campfires on the way to Arindale. The closest dungeon would be in Ulm, which is part of the main quest. Hope this helped.

There is one campfire along the road from Fargrove to Arindale. It is located to the south of the road, south of the road that leads north to Lake Lohr. I only visited there once. I think it is in the little cul-de-sac at the south edge of the map and is due south of the word "Venturean" on the world map. There is a chest at that location too.

I haven't found a single dungeon that is not quest related though and I haven't heard of anyone who has. Maybe, the shopkeepers are talking about the dungeon that will become a part of your quest. Who knows. It would be a good idea to eliminate those dialogue segments though.
