Forbidden Lands
I'm in Skuldoon and can't get thru the gate to Forbidden Lands. Is this the inly way to get there? Any help would be appreciated.
I'm sure there are at least a couple of threads on this already ...
You must get permission from the leader of Skuldoon. But you need a reason to see him, which you get from someone near, but outside Skuldoon ... and that person won't be there unless you talk to someone else, who won't tell you unless you have spoken to someone you were directed to talk to early in the game. Hint - Bolen Fields.

No - you should have spoken to the girl at the inn in order to get information which would have allowed you out of the city. When you spoke to her, she mentioned that the last she knew, the daughter was headed towards Bolen Fields ... where Valdane's father was located. *That* is your next destination. Just pay attention to what Graemare says and it follows naturally.

I agree with txa1265, and after you talk to graemere u need to go back to the inn and talk to the tavern wench then she'll make tell u about her contact and you'll have to wait awhile before u can meet her. She's in the harrow ruins. Then she'll set u on the quest to go and talk to vartugg. Hope that helped.
