Are my items being stolen?

Since spellhold I have noticed that some of my items have gone missing. Minsc lost a sword that he had in his quickslot and Nalia lost 2 wands that she had stored there also. For Minsc I reloaded an earlier save and did it again and retained the item. Now Nalia got killed in battle and when I restored her her personal ring (That cannot be removed) was missing. Is this normal? Is it the Drow? Or another foe that causes this? I dont want to check every item every time I have a fight!

Ok So I have checked back through reams of posts and found that it is the Nishruus that take away magical items!

Damn them!

I think items are disappearing in other ways and I don't know if it is a feature or a bug. In 3 times through the game I have never been able to construct the Equalizer since the pommel gem always vanishes.

Sometimes when your character is under the "fear" effect he will drop things from his quick item slots.

The Nishruus destroying items without charges and causing magical weapons to be unequiped bug has *alegedly* been fixed in the BETA patch. I say alegedly because i've not installed the patch yet. Image

They thought monks are a bit overrated so they reduced some abilities.I don't remember which, but if anyone plays a monk and is considering installing the beta patch, should check the official site.

Basically, monks can forget about wielding weapons now since they only get their extra attacks with their fists. This makes the Ninja-To useless since it's only usable by monks to begin with. Do I want 2 attacks (including the bonus attack) with the Ninja-To or 4 with my fists? Let me think about this... Image

Even when it was the same number of attacks it was debatable.
