Please help with errors

I am in the 3rd act right now and have been having 2 problems that I would appreciate some help with:

1. Earlier in the game, when my characters would level up, I would reload if the hit points I received were on the low end, and it would be different when I reloaded and tried again. Now when I try that method it gives me the same low score regardless of how many times I reload. I am getting 3 HP at a level up when I have gotten 14 or 15/ level up in the past. What gives?

2. I am in the Graveyard district and am in the tombs. I have come to the blue doors where the magician is supposed to appear and summon a golem to break the doors down. Well I walk all around the room and click on the door and the mage is a no show! I have even gone back and talked to Aran again, and it makes no difference. Do I have to restart my game to get this part to work??

Thanks for your time. Image

1. I agree with Lucian

2. I had this same problem. I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with the time of day/night.

Ermm.. did the Shadow Thieves already say you had to go pay Bodhi a visit after you figured out where she was hiding? They are the ones that send the mage+Golem, so if they didn't yet send you there, you're not going to get them ... you're not playing by the walkthrough, eh, Puerto??

By the way, you can lower the difficulty to one step BELOW the Core Rules; the only difference is that you'll get the max. HP with each level-up (and yes, above lvl 9 or so, you only gain 2-3 HP per level), and you write spells into your magebooks without a chance on failure. For the rest, the rules are the same.

Now, now, you give me too much credit here ...

But you're right about the bowing, though Image Image

(Thanks everyone for the replies)
I was sent by Aran. He told me that the mage would be there when I got to the blue doors. What is the hotkey to tell me what time of day it is? I am guessing I need to be there at a certain time for him to let me through. I think its too late for me to enjoy the max HP/level thing because most of my charts are already level 9 or 10.

I guess you never saw the button at the lower left corner? Image

It shows some clockwork mechanism or such, and has two functions. First of all, clicking it will pause/unpause the game, the same way as the space bar. Secondly, it gives the actual time in the game. You can hover your cursor over it (keep it steady!) and either wait for the small text-scroll with time indicator to appear, or press the 'TAB' key. This will bring up such thing immediatly. This doesn't count for just this, it counts for anything over which you can put your cursor to get information.

I sat there and slept over and over in the room hoping that the mage would appear but he never did. I am thinking I will have to restart a game just to get through this part.
Poop,
