Uh Korgan descided to leave my party after the trademeet quest with the druid grove and the resolution to the Skin Dancer quest. Could it have anything to do with the fact that my Rep rose to 18 during those quests... Cuz I Loaded and screwed solving that skin dancer quest and my rep stayed at an 17, and he didnt leave... or is it something else. I went to the slums to check if I could find that damn book, but his ex gang is never around there... so I duno, Should I just not do anything good, and like screw half of the quests, or is there another way to please Korgan???

had you been at pimlico's estate after you went to the tomb to look for the book of kaza?..the event at the coppoer coronet wont be triggered before you have been those places

Yeah but my rep will most likely rise to 18 again even tho Im just doin njormal quests, so isnt there any way you can just bring it down a few points, instead of like 8 when you kill civilians.... cuz Korgans like a badass fighter and Im gona need him later in the game

use the slayer transformation, it will boot you 2 rep each use

its something that will happen after you join either guild, and go to spellhold on brynlaw and gets captured..have you been so far?

Apparently he hasn't ... anyway, I can provide two solutions to this, although one might not work because you already did it.

- Get Viconia in your party; She's Neutral Evil (so the same applies as what applies for Korgan regarding reputation), but as long as you have her, your reputation is decreased by 2 points. When you ditch her you gets those back, however, and it also doesn't prevent you from getting to 19 or 20 again ...

- Steal from unimportant merchants. Buy whatever you need from them, because once you do the following trick, you won't be able to buy from them again. Steal from them (from the TRADE SCREEN! - there's a button below with a hand near a bag), until they notice and call you a thief. This will lower your reputation by 2 points permanently. However, the merchant will become hostile and walk out of the area where your party is. However, DO NOT ATTACK THE MERCHANT, OR YOU'RE IN FOR MORE TROUBLE!

Two merchants that I know have no importance to the game are in Trademeet; one is in the tent just below the one with the Djinni's, the other is the dwarf somewhere in the 'promenade' section, just below the major's house.

I solved the problem of Korgan and Edwin leaving by just killing a random person on the street.....my rep was at 18 and I killed them and it dropped to 10. Everyone then is happy....if it ever gets about 15 then I will just kill another random person....it is not really good role-playing since I have a chaotic good main character, but it works and none of my good alignment characters seem to mind

Didn't other people on the same map go hostile as well?? I did this in Trademeet, and EVERY SINGLE PERSON in town got hostile towards me ... probably ruining my game for good, so I loaded.

It happened to me in Trademeet. I went to the west part of the map over by where you come in. It was night so there was very little people action and no one saw me.....you just have to be careful that is all.

Well this is for some of you who wouldn't mind editting your game a bit so you can keep your dwarf brute Korgan or the lovely Viconia.

First you must get yourself Shadow keeper BG 2 editor. Then before recruiting the person you desire you MUST edit your reputation into 25 (that's Max for the game). This will make your party rep not increasing any further since it's already the highest in the game ! So every time you complete every quest you can stop worrying to loose Korgan or Viconia. Heh, I have try that with mixed party with Viconia, Jan, Korgan, and some others.
Last note : The Shadow Keeper editor can do lots of things, but try not to abuse it so it spoil the fun of the game !
And for you guys who oppose editting or cheating, the thing i mention above just a suggestion to solve the problem discussed only !

Viconia stayed in my party with Rep 18,19 and 20! I assume this happens because in the Exit from the Underdark,the elven general made her give an oath that she would help me anyway she could.

Yeah Ive got Viconia tho, so If I ditch her Im gona have 20.... which wont please Korgan, I need some way to like decrease a couple of points, and I need to continue the story so that Irenicus can steal my soul thingy... I can do the slayer trans.. and then Ill decrease 2....

Well , another easy solution would be getting rid off him and having Keldorn in your party . Korgan was the only evil character in my party (besides me ) , and he was messing up with all the party members
especially Jaheria which i was romancing .
So i grew tired of his attitude . I retrieved all his inventory , gave him the armor of human flesh and disintigrated him to eternity . I felt a great relief .
