I have done a search on this forum as well as the Dreamcatcher one and can not find where the Shield Relic is located (I'm afraid I may have accidentally sold it to one of the vendors in my desperation for cash). Please let me know the original location before I travel across the land to meet with all the possible buyers. Many appreciations!

relics won't appear in your inventory when you are trading...

IIRC, the shield is in the Daedroth Temple, in the Vale of Ruins.

Thank you! I must have missed picking it up when I was there. Good to know that quest items can not be sold - that has been a major concern of mine ever since Morrowind.
