Hey all,
How do you get to start the Budoka quest....
I have seen the lady in the slum area that ask's you to find a map in Custard Mansion (which I did), now she wants me to take it to Skuldoon. I have been to The House of the Dragon and he wont let me start the quest either.
Please help! LOL

You need to do the House of the Dragon quest and the House of the Tiger quest before you can select an Eastern class.

You have to take the map to skulldoon first if you did not choose thief as your starting class. At this point you probably have the thief class up on yer class boxes up there but it's not lit up yet. If you get the map to skulldoon you will be an official member of the guild of mystery, which will light that up for you. Then you can go for the house of the dragon and house of the tiger initiation quests and advance to budoka. Then again it might just be some strange game ruining bug playing a cruel joke on you, never can tell. Best of luck to you!

I did start off as a rogue
I am only lvl 7 at the moment...can I get to Skuldoon before I do the rest of the quests...i know I'll need to get permission from Davenmore to leave the city first, but I dont have to do Arindale quests first do I?
Thanks in advance

I think you have to do both the quest The Path of Tiger and The Way of Dragon. At least you have to have the Dragon quest done I'm sure.

blueray has a point, you might have to do both the dragon and tiger quests before you can become a budoka, not positive. You might be able to just deliver the dragon egg to the house of the tiger and then go back to fargrove and try training at the house of the dragon, again not sure on that one either.
I would think you have to do the way of the tiger though which is kinda sad if you are hoping to save your points to put into ninjutsu instead of a weapon skill.
As far as getting to skulldoon at level 7 goes, I think you can pull it off after you complete the quest for the orders to leave town. I made the run at level 9 or so and just ran the whole way, then stopped at the skulldoon town enterance and used poison cloud and my crummy shortbow to finish off the huge amount of critters that chased me the whole way. If it's important to you to do these things as soon as possible I would go into options, turn the encounter rate to less, and monsters to easy, research where you are going(bridge over the lake on the way to skulldoon, etc.). Then just run like hell and choose your ground when you fight. The bridges into the elf town also make good spots to stand your ground.
If you adjust the options, don't forget to put them back at a more desirable level later, sucks to try and level when you can't find a damn thing to fight.
