Don't Know What To Do ! - Few Questions

Hello All
I did actually Finally get to speak to the Succubus after dropping off the vial of blood (after many hours of running around I was able to take back the vial and re-place it - Came from SE towards NW).
I have just completed Tomb of Souls.
I have not been able to locate a Ninga Dude (who's name I can't remember) near Lake Dread - Does anyone know where to find him ?
Also, I have been back to Skulldoon. Vartugg is "out of town" AND I have NOT returned any relics to Talindor. Do I have to do that to get him to return to Skulldoon ?
I understand from previous posts, that I must speak with him in order to do Ithranbuls Maze in Black Swamp (correct ?). I know there is a post on this but I can't locate it.
Also, someone created a World Map that appears to show an area West of Vale of Ruin. It appears to be a series of disconnected trails.
How do I get there ?
I know this is alot of questions, but it could save me alot of time farting around. If anyone can assist me with these, I will be truely grateful.
Thanks again everyone. The help I have received here to date has been very good and much appreciated.

.ninja guy, I don't know
vartugg, there are other quests that u have to do first before he will be back in town. He will give u the password to enter the deeper part of the black swamp, where the last relic is, ie davenmore's daughter.
u will have to put the relics in the dead mages spirit chamber.
vale of ruins, talk to Staroxia, in the forbidden lands. she will give u a password to tell the mad mage, Grymlock, who has a book with the moongate sigils to the vale of ruin.

I don't know about the ninja guy, but I do know that there are two campfires east of Lake Dread (one north of the road and one south), and those are usually good places to look.
To get Vartugg to come back, you have to place four relics in the Chamber of Spirits. So if you've been hanging onto them, it's time to turn them in.
I've seen that map with stuff west of the Vale of Ruin, but I don't know what it is either (of course, I haven't finished the game yet).

The place on the map you are referring to is the very last level in the game. I didn't realize it until after I beat the game... heheh.

for the ninja guy, are you refering to the quest (yes telling the detail about the quest helps, much more than simply "the ninja guy" does) "Dragon and Tiger" where you have to stop an assasin from killing SenSei Yamamatsu? That I'll be able to help, if not, please provide more detail about the quest you are persuing.

...actually "I" could need a information about the quest with SenSei Yamamatsu. Didn't find a clue, where to find him...
and, btw, any suggestions where to find my fourth relic of power, the shield?

Sensei Yamamatsu is somewhere around the west of Lake Dread, where you met Mara, at the Harrow Ruin. They (Sensei Yamamatsu and the Assasin) are fighting near a campfire, so all you need is to spot the campfire... One thing to remind, DO NOT use any spell of splashing effect to attack the assasin while Yamamatsu is near him, though the attack of the assasin may not harm Yamamatsu much, your spell will do A LOT of damage to him. I used 2 Fireballs and 1 Iceball and the poor sensei drop dead on the ground.....
The Shield is in Dreadoth Temple, in the Vale of Ruin.

I found the sensei at the western edge of the Forbidden Lands, in that little area south of the Sagathian Moors.

Ehrm, are you sure? Yoshi told me Yamamatsu is at the Lake Dread area, and I found him near Harrow Ruin...Forbidden land is way too far from Lake Dread... Perhaps you are refering to other Budoka/Samurai quest?

I'm sure. All of the post-initiation guild quests take place in the Forbidden Lands, just like all of the third tier class quests take place in the Vale of Ruin.

Okay, maybe I'm the one who is confused...The west of Lake Dread one could be the Budoka initiate quest...Yamamatsu is located somewhere north of the Trickster quest area then... Sorry for the mess up. Always confused by those pseudo-Japanese name.

I hear ya Blueray.
That is one of the reasons why I couldn't think of "ninga-guys" name, hehe !
None the less I did finally find him west of Dread Lake. It was the Budoka Quest. He was not far past the Alter where Mara was.
Bye the way, has anyone figured out the relevance of the Alters ? i.e. Alter of Light
I found a couple where no one could touch me, so it was a good refuge. But many if not all, said there was an Item Required. Required to do what ?
Thanks for everyones help on this one.

Some of the altars may be for Celestial quests (the altar of Celestial Power)...For one, if you played an Elf, you could rent a Sword of Flame from the Hall of Weaponry in Arindale, and as the guy hended the sword to you, he did mentioned that the sword need to be recharged at the Altar of Fire..don't know what that means, as I'm still far from journeying to that altar - it is in Vale of Ruin...

actually, Yamamatsu - though it is valid Japanese in the sense it actually means something, Yama means mountain and Matsu means pine tree, but Yamamatsu dosen't sum up to a usual name, since it will mean "Pine tree on a mountain"... However, if we turn it around, as in Matsuyama, it will have a meaning as "A mountain covered with pine trees", which is more common.
This was tracked back long ago, the people of ancient Japan has no concept of family bloodline, so they have no "family name". This would lead to serious problem like mariage among close relatives - since there are hardly anyway to track if they are from the same family. So one day one of the Emporor or Shogun (don't ask me who, I have problem remembering Japanese names, remeber?) ordered the people of Japan to have their family name. So the people (mostly peasents who cannot read or write) turn to the more educated scholars or their leader, normally Samurai or governmental officials to think of a family name for them. There is no problem for the scholars, but for some of the Samurai, they themselves maybe illiterate too (as they ascent to such rank from civilians due to their valor in battles) so some of the names they think of maybe less "innovative". One of the more clever way is to use the environmental characteristic of one's living area, like if one is living on a small island, he will be given "Kojima" as his family name (which, of course, means "small island"). Likewise someone lives in a mointain with lots of pine trees, will be called Matsuyama. Rarely one will be given ascociation to one pine tree in a whole mountain...That's why I'd say Yamamatsu is not a common name...Just some offtrack chitchat.
