I've completed all the first missions and all the walkthroughs say take a taxi on 2nd avenue by the cafe to get to downtown, but it's not there!!!!

Did you speak to Bertram gain after blowing up the warehouse?

Are you a Nosferatu? If so, you need to go through the sewers.

Yes I am Nosferatu....but I don't see any ways to the city on the sewer map. I'm pretty sure I talked to bertram, the dood livin in the oil tank right?

kronnyq, welcome to the forums, and please watch the language. Check out the forum rules, especially rule #3. Yes, I know it's a hassle, but this board's located in the US, and we have to watch the complaints we get.

As a nos, Bertram would have given you a book that is a sewer access guide, and it unlocks the route to downtown - and everywhere else for a nossie, for that matter. Anybody know if you've got to carry it? I always did, treating it like an amulet, so I can't say whether just getting the book is good enough.

One of the maps in the sewers is slightly different from the others. To travel to downtown, you will click on that map and it will take you there. It occasionally even worked for my Gangrel character, who didn't really need it since he could take the taxi.

I used the sewers in my first couple of run-throughs as an alternative to the taxi. Different clans.
