I have gone as far as I can in this temple dungeon - which is not very far. At one time I had a gold key and a "skull" key (which is still in my inventory).

I have tried to get help on this but so far it has not worked: when you enter this dungeon and go to the right, you go down a hallway and there is a closed grate at the end which has a "skull lock" next to it. I try to use my skull key on this but nothing happens other than the game says "item required". I don't get any mesage saying "using skull key or using gold key".

I have been told elsewhere that what happens is that when you try to use the key on this lock, it actually opens up another area behind me somewhere which has a switch to allow me to go to the new area.

I have tried this over and over and looked for opened up new areas and any new switches but no luck so far.

I am fed up and will consier reloading this dungeon over again but it will be a waste of lots of hours of gameplay.

Has anyone got any advice on how I can continue this area or mention what I am doing wrong? Is there a walkthrough for this temple Draedoth?

I have also killed the giant minotaur-like monster that came to life from being a frozen statue in the middle between the stairs going up to the upper level if that means anything. I think he may have dropped the gold key - not sure.

After really enjoying this game despite all the bugs I hate to quit but may have to as I think this is just going to be the bug that broke the "camel's back" so-to-speak.

try using it again and turn around, you should found a secret wall is openned and there is a switch to open the gate. If you use the key twice, it will close the secret wall. It's kind of like a toggle switch, use it once, you open the door, use it again it closes and so forth.

Thanks, Blue Ray, I will try again from a previous game save point of just entering the Draedoth temple. . . .wish me luck
