I have become a Knight and now have the ability to use heavy weapons and armor. When I hit "C" and go to the Class advance screen I can activate the ability to use heavy sheild and heavy armor but not heavy weapons. I have enough Advance Points and the Heavy Weapons option is highlighted yellow to select. When I click it, it spits sparks as if selected but I do not gain the ability, no points are taken away and it remains highlighted yellow. How can I use heavy weapons when I can't get the option to activate ?

well I understand what you are saying and if it's highlighted in yellow you should be able to use it to keep raising it level as long as your 2 previous weapon classes are always 2 ahead of the one you just activated. Also you need to put a heavy weapon in the equipment area on your character. Thing is you may have a penalty problem cause you need to advance yourself that many more times so your weapon is more useful....example if you activated your weapons class to level 3 and you have a penalty of minus 2 you have to raise your weapons class two more times in order to get the penalty removed. Thx for the reply. If I try to equip a heavy weapon I have a penalty of -960998143 . My medium weapons skill is at 10 as well as light. There is no number in the heavy weapon and when I click it, it does not increase just remains highlighted yellow. Any help would be appriciated ( hard to fight big monsters with a weapon with max damaged at 10.)

Heh, is that really the penalty, or did you just type in some numbers? I'd suspect you've got a bug in your game regardless, but if that's really the penalty then it's definitely a bug. The penalty should be -30 or something like that.

The good news is that there are some decent medium weapons out there, and you should be able to finish the game even if that's the best you can use.
