I want a magical weapon, and I want it NOW!!!!

I’m making an elf sorcerer for a campaign. 5th level. I’d like her to wield a masterwork composite longbow with a +1 enhancement bonus and the frost special ability. I’d also like to add a strength bonus of +2. How much is this thing gonna cost me? I’ve read the DM guide, and I have a rough idea, but want to make sure I’m figuring everything right. A price breakdown would be very helpful.

Mighty (+2) Composite Longbow = 300
Masterwork quality = 300
Enhancement +1, Frost special +1: +2 total bonus = 8000
end price: +/- 8600gp
This is following strict DMG guidelines

Finding someone to create it for you would be the hard part. It may end up costing considerably more than the DMG prices depending on where the campaign is taking place.

You will want to create it yourself. That way, you spend only half of the market price. (Any XP lost wil be regained in a level or two, because of the 3.5 rules for determining individual XP.)
Gotta love the item creation feats. More stuff for no reason!

but you will aslo have to roll a craft check??
at least we play with that.
