I just finished skimming through the MOD's thread and even though there are quite alot of MOD's (a whole freakin' alot actually!), I did not see any that tweak's the poor dialogue.
Now quite I awhile ago I remember Fable mentioning something about how the dialogue in the unmodded version of Morrowind is quite poor, and he's right. So I'm wondering if there is a MOD out there that improves the boring, uninteresting, redundant, and often confusing Morrowing dialogue?
Dialogue MOD??
Dialogue MOD??
Mitch:You know, um, something strange happened to me this morning... Chris Knight: Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?Mitch: No... Chris Knight:Why am I the only one who has that dream?

You want the homepage of LGNPC. It's a series of mods that replace generic dialog in specific cities with a range of individual, very interesting dialog, sometimes associated with new quests. The mod series was actually begun here, but dropped and picked up by someone else. Well worth using, though you'll want to avoid those specific cities that are also the location of other mods you run.

Thats my grope with those mods. Not very compatible. I've given up trying to get interesting dialogue, I'd rather have gameplay improvements, content additions etc. - most of which have some interesting dialogue in anyway.
From that perspective you'll find mods such as Vivec Expansion 2.0, Balmora Expansion 1.4 and Better Caldera all of which improve somewhat on the dialogue.

Oh, they're compatible with the main game. The problem is that the LGNPC designers couldn't take into account all changes in any given city, created by one of 4000+ mods. As it is, since many of the cities are small towns, you don't have to worry too much about changes.

nonono, the lgnpc is awesome. in fact if you download it, give me feedback on who you think the funniest people are... Less Generic NPC's are ubertight. They only affect the original npc's, so no conflict with added ones. Personally ald rhun was my favorite to do... but anyway, you want to download it and give it a shot. IT beats hearing about the same exact thing over and over.
P.S. - im an editor for lgnpc, so sorry if i came on a bit strong.
