Sheringal (sp?)

Hey
I'm having great difficulty killing the half-dragon Sheringal (sp?).
My problem is that whenever I strike her, a message pops up reading that she was immune to my damage - in this case bludgeoning.
I am a solo monk and I have tried a variety of things, such as shooting at her with crossbows, sliding down the difficulty bars, I've even searched through three different walkthroughs.
Can this be related to the monk additional damage - eg. +2 seeing as I'm level 15 ATM?
I might have forgotten to share some info with you, so if you're wondering about anything please don't hesitate to ask.
:::EDIT:::
Oh, yeah. I've also tried buying the collective amount of explosive/damaging potions I could get from Oswald. Sadly, I only got her Badly Wounded, which she healed almost instantly.

The problem may be that she has damage reduction, or something like Protection from Normal Weapons. But if the potions work, I suggest more, and more quickly.

...hmmm...-...another solo monk try!?
...it seems that it's already some time ago since the last one was doomed!
...bu let's wait and see how far this little monk will get
...but as you have already encountered one of the main problems for a monk - enemies with a high bludgeoning DR...
...just search on this forum as there was an extensive discussion on soloing with a monk some time ago (~6 month?) - or just have fun at the BS!

I never did see the end of the solo monk try. I saw he got to the underdark with a pretty high level then nothing after that.
As for the current issue, perhaps you should use a weapon? Something magical with slashing damage should work pretty well.

Offhand, I can't think of any slashing weapons that a monk is proficient with.

Problem is that I've bought all of Oswald's potions, to no avail.
I'm not sure if I can come up with a suitable weapon, if not, Dale Keeper will be my saviour.

Monks are proficient in axes. The Executioner's Wife would be perfect at this point, but one of the priestess's axes would work as well.

The best option for damage against Shernical is missile weapons that deliver extra elemental (but not electrical) damage (such as flaming arrows and corrosive bullets) and/or potions/items that have elemental damage capabilities such as Necklace of Missiles (purchased from the Werewolf guy at the crash site). She's also susceptible to bleeding wounds and disease/poison damage like Dolorous Decay etc. She is tough though. I think she has 20 damage resistance against all weapons meaning she's almost immune to combat damage.
I played a solo character Demarch/Enchanter/Rogue/Fighter against her and had to specifically memorise my spells just for her after she cleaned the floor with me a few times. Even after dropping her saves and hitting her with 2 Flame Strikes, I still had to Blind her and hit her with Rigid Thinking before I closed to melee with an Iceblade to finish her off.
If you have Emma's Moonblade from the 1st chapter, this should also work against her, or an aurilian Ice Axe.

But that's two-handed...

Great guys. Thanks for the help. I'll try to take her on when I get home from work.
And, btw, this is the first serious problem I've encountered with the monk. Doubt it'll be my last!

Finally. She's history.
Got her with ease using one of the countless frost axes - if only I had come up with that.
