List all the NPC's you've noticed from Baldur's gate 1 returning in Baldur's gate 2.

Unmodded (in no particular order):
Playable:
- Jaheiera
- Minsc
- Imoen
- Edwin
- Vicona
- Sarevok (TOB)
Unplayable:
- Ajantis
- Coran
- Dynaheir (only mentioned that she is dead)
- Faldorn
- Garrick
- Khalid (only mentioned that he is dead)
- Montaron
- Quayle
- Tiax
- Xzar
Then you can get mods that add them. If you are wondering where these characters are, just post back and I'll say the location.

- Met Xzar and heard him talk about Montaron.
- Kahlid, yeah in the beginning.
- Think I met faldorn in druids groove.
- Garrick, I believe I met him in Amn.
Haven't seen the rest though.

Well.. Quayle is in the Circus Tent (With Aerie, remember?)
Garrick is in the Temple District, trying to seduce a knight (a female, off course!).
Isn't Tiax held in Spellhold ?
I don't know where theses are...

SPOILERS (Highlight to read):
Adjantis is one of the polymorphed paladins that you kill by mistake in Windspear hills. You don't find that out unless you have Keldorn in your party.
Coran and Safana appear at the end of chapter 6 if you explore the area west of the big tree that leads into Suldanessalar.
