Swoop Racing

Ok what's the catch about this one, I've tried to beat the 1st time at the swoop track on Telos about 50 times, and never I managed, the best i had was like 43+ sec, and I need 41 sec.
And when I got the 43 sec I did a perfect drive... At least I think so...
Any hints for Swoop racing?
KotOR 1 I could beat all the swoop tracks most of the time in 1 try... So I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong...
Help please?

I'm not ignoring you, but the only swoop track i've ever competed on was on Nar Shaddaa. No problem winning there. But that doesn't help does it?

Hehe thx tho
Just checking something, something you can answer I think
, there aren't any new stuff regarding swoop racing in KotOR 2 except the jumping and the bombs, right?
There isn't somekinda speed boost you can use or whatever?
Edit: I didn't have a lot of trouble winning the swoop races at Onderon, tho beating the first time was pretty hard... So I guess it's just a Telos thing...
Also, I read something about easily winning swoop races in the strategy guide of GameBanshee, but it aint working for me... Anyone care to read and try it, and then come tell me if it worked for you or not, please?
Thx

I know its possible
I have beaten the top score on Telos. I did a couple times on Telos but there was some bug and the Race Coordinator said I crashed even though I had won the Race.
One thing that migh help is putting your game to the lowest configuration. This can either reduce lagging or make things appear bigger. The only other tip I heard is a way to cheat. I never tried and sounds hard and my guess is meant for the XBox version. You press Esc over and over while driving to make it go in slow motion. But when looking at what you would have to do to make it work it looks like you would need three hands. One to press Esc, One to press a,d. and one more to click the mouse to switch to next gear.

There should be some sort of a best line to follow to get the maximum speed boosts like in KOTOR 1. There may be something like that in the strategy guides.

You can use your mouse to steer also so you don't need to use a and d.

If in the end your trying to hit all the speed things still, you might just want to try instead by staying linear and staying away from the obstacles when the speed things stop increasing your speed by much.
By the way, Ive never really beaten Telos, I left when I got bored with it and went to find Bao-Dur instead

i think going around some those wall obstacles instead of jumping over them did the trick for me, though you probably do that already..
