What is a Stronghold quest ??? Everyone tells about it, but what is it ?

Several tasks involving your stronghold. The stronghold is dependent of your class. See under quest on this site (BG2 section) for more information.

In BG2:SOA you get quests, when certain classes complete certain quests they get to take control of a stronghold.
e.g if you r a fighter and you complete the quest requiring you to clear the De'arnise hold, you get to rule the hold, occasionaly youa re asked to make decisions about something or defend it from attack. In return you get money (500gp a week).
