Hello all,

Today I found a new arcane spell 'shooting sparks' that I believe was not active prior to 1.3. I did read something on the official dreamcatcher forum about it and now I actually found it. So far I have only 1 charge so its not very usefull.

My wizard is now just about level 20, and I have to say that playing this character is much easier than I expected. I breezed through the naga temple and the draedoth temple (blast nova is my new best friend). Only the beginning of the game is hard for a magic user. Now that the patch also includes the junk items, its much easier to make money (of which you need heaps for spells).

I just thought I'd share this info for people that have been reluctant to play a magic character. Below is my magic panel which shows the number of spells I have accumulated.

man, that IS quite a load of spells.

i just got blast nova (just got to skuldoon, as well). i'm quite impressed with its utility along the roads!

I assume you do not know about the Natal "Ingredients-to-spells" buy/sell way of gaining $, Bad Breath?

I guess the description says it all... Buy Natal ingredients, create spells out of them, and re-sell back. Doubly effective in the town your character race is from (as are all sales, at least in v1.1).

My 1st run-thru of the game had me with 1,000+ of each spell (yeah, went a little crazy) by L41. This second time thru, being a LITTLE bit more moderate with 130 of each spell at L17 (Checking out Sisterhood Class).

Fireside refills take several days, of course, but thought I might pass that bit of info I figured out (my brother figured out the 2x $ selling in homelands)... assumed it was common knowledge, but never checked to see if so. If not, now it will be, I suppose! <8^)P

I do know about that. However I find that too much work. The few times I tried that it didn't yield a lot of money. I did not know about the shop prices being related to the characters race.
