Computer Problem On Oderon (Spoiler?)

Post by TheDarkPhantom »

On Oderon, assaulting the Royal Palace as a Dark Side character (i.e. against Queen Talia) I've got the section with the 2 computer terminals, which you have to disable to open the big door. Now, according to the walkthrough, you should simply go to the north terminal, disable it, then go to the south terminal (where Kiph is), get rid of him, then disable that.

However, when I reached the north terminal it said 'Locked out by another user'. I then went to the South Terminal, which worked fine, opened all the doors, deactivated the (empty) force cage etc. etc. and disabled the terminal. Then I've been back to the North Terminal, but it still says 'Locked out by another user'. I have no idea what to do.

In the walkthrough it mentions that light side players have to transfer control from the south computer to the north one? But I am not light, and anyway, the south computer has no command to do this (I have reloaded and tried). The north terminal just remains locked out, and I can't get at it to open the door to progress.

Any ideas on what to do? Or is this a bug? And how can I get past it.

Thanks for any help.

I played through this last night as a lightsider. The computer terminal that is locked by another user - the one next to the north hallway - isn't the secondary terminal that you want. Go into the next room (on the south wall?), then go into the room after THAT (on the north wall, I think). In my game, there were loyalist troopers in that room, but I'm not sure they'll be there on the darkside version. But, that room has the terminal you want.
