Hello
I just wanted to ask what did you think of the ending for KOTOR II? did you think it was good or bad?

'Underwhelming' is probably the best word, closely followed by 'unclear, inconclusive' and 'tbc.'

yeah, at first i was kinda confused. like, "what the heck is
'an echo in the force' neways?" and it sure did leave me hangin. i dont know...i wish there were some kinda twist in it, like in the original KOTOR, but oh well

It was a real let down but the dark side one was better where he/she chucked traya off the side to take over the dark throne. But they were rubbish.

I never really payed much attention to the end.
I never really payed much attention to the end. Once I got to Malachor V I saved my game stopped playing for a month. I dont know the main Nemisis in Kotor I was much better. You felt like you knew them. Kreia sure you knew her but she never told much of herself.
I thought the Malachor Level sucked. Once I finally finished the Malachor surface levels I stopped playing for something like 3 months. And then by the time I finally got to Kreia I was so out of practice I had to use cheats. I cant remember the ending at all. I can barely remember the fight but all I remember is at the end she tells of whats going to happen in terms of your crew or something like that. Its been so long and I never really payed any attention.
I thought the games was fine till somewhere before you meat Darth Nihilous or what his name is. The one on the Harbinger. I think the ending is where they were told by there bosses to hurry up and get it ready for the holidays cause it stunk. Obviously nothing exciting enough to remember.

The ending was pretty bad, they left out a whole lot f important details in it, thats what really got me.

Facing Nihilus is a bit anti-climatic and disappointing as is the ending.

Though you have to admit it leaves potential for a follow-up.

didn't like it at all...
the first one gave u at least a certain sense of closure, even if it was weak (i wanna know what happened!!!)
this ones like, ok, now we magically fly away with our ship that was totally wrecked!
But that could be my pessimistic friend talking... the whole time i was playing the game he was berating the game ending...

The ending was kind of weird, cause you keep on hearing all this stuff about Sion and Nihilus for so long, and how they overwhelmed Traya so easily, that I expected them to be the big boss and all. But it just turned out so much differently, I wondered if there was even a point to the last hour of gameplay.
And for some reason, compared to the last game, the ending wasnt right. It felt strange somehow. The ending wasnt mind staggering either, nor did it contain the enormity, difficulty or was it as interestin g and impressive as the last one. I guess I found it a little dissapointing.

The ending was terrible for lightsiders. All you do is fly off into space. Woo. And why is Darth Nihilus in the background of the picture on the front of the game package when hes not the main boss, usually the guy in the background is the main boss, you know just like Darth Vadar, and Malak. But anyway yeah the ending was ****.

the endings
The endings for kotor2 are awful (i would use a worse word but it would be sensored) I some how over wrote my lightsiders profile on malachor and only finished the game as a darksider the game had no plot twists like in the first 1 when u turn out to be Darth Reven also because of the daedline parts of the game where taken out as most of u no however bits leading up to the cut out events where left in. one which people havnt meantiond is the talk with hk-47 about the sonic sensor the one where he says u could use the sensor to find the hk factory and destry it

This WHOLE game so far bites compared to first one. I bought this game to create a Jedi character and go about the thing as MY Jedi character. This stuff about taking control of other characters to accomplish things is STUPID. I didn't pat 50+ dollars to be a droid or an ignorant, weak @ss pilot that can't fight!!!! And I haven't even comlpeted 2 worlds yet.....I think Im gonna uninstall this and go back to I...at least you can play the character you designed through the whole game........

oh yes. the ending WAS bad to me, because I didn't get the plitical situation on onderon right (i'm no native speaker, but the german dubbing just sucks...) so I sided with Vaklu instead of the queen. what seemed right, because I didn't get DS-points supporting Anda by driving away the captains (which seemes to be a bug). so I ended up as a Lightsider being called "sith" by everyone and I "couldn't help" killing all those jedi masters while intending to rebuild the order... *sigh* and the savegames that occur here are about 1 planet before siding with queen or military or 3 minutes AFTER siding...
is there any possibility to hack the savegame (with KSE for example) to switch sides or redo the scene in the cantina with kavar? I'd like to see the LS-ending but the next char was intended to be DS. feels kinda wierd to extinguish the order as LS and save it and rebuild it as DS.
and yes: the ebon hawk should be absolutely junk after sith crash. it even got twisted in the video. well.. bao-dur and atton hat quite a job while the exile finished kreia...

indeed the ending was err.. fudge.
1st of all it never tells wat happened 2 bao-dur, atton, mira/hanharr, T3, 47,Brianna/Disciple and Mandalore. if u were a LS on nar shaddaa u used mira 2 beat up hanharr she walks threw teh gates then blah she's gone. in kotor 1 it tells wat happened 2 ur party members but in kotor 2 it doesnt. i can only assume they went with the Exile, but she/he cant bring any1. so wth happened? i NOW know the original ending where atton's supposed 2 get killed by Sion and how all ur party members besides 47, T3 and Mandalore get killed by kreia but it never actually says so i'm in a state of complete confusion.
overall tho the game itself was fun especially fighting Vrook, even tho he used single i still say he was the biggest saber buff JM.
PS: did any1 think Nihilus looked a bit like flashback Revan AND he used his saber differently from all other characters?

about your companions: ask darth traya about it before finishing her. she will dell you anything you want to know about them. I recall only the future of the droids is unclear, maybe because the will appear in kotor3.
about nihilus: was that this guy with the stupid mask? helooked to me like some cartoon-dog... and how he fought I do not know, because he died to quick to attack me!

the plot in the entire game was too predictable , i was expecting a big twist, there was none, the ending sucked

What got me was that I wasn't even offered a cigarette after I finished the game.

*tosses a ciggy* enjoy.
What got me the most about the ending was how small it seemed to matter. I mean the dangerous sith lords you killed easily. What was Darth Traya going to do? The star forge seemed far more interesting and important, and topok much longer to get through, then Trayus academy.
