hey, my main character can't use computers, but whenever i needed to i would just use another party member. this becomes a problem, however, when your alone in the tomb of naga sadow.
when i say "cant use" i mean the "use" button is there, but the game refuses to open the window for the computer use screen.
AGH!

You just have to succeed in your goals without using computers to destroy some enemies in advance.

My apologies, I hadn't realized exactly where you were. That terminal should function for everybody, regardless of skill level (or lack of same). Have the doors closed behind you? And can you back out of the computer screen when you try to enter it?

no, the door never closes, and i cant even get into the screen. ive tried on almost every computer i can, and the window just never comes up. it comes up for my party members though.
which brings me to how i cant get past the therangen obelisk in ajunta palls tomb. i put a grenade in, but nothing happens. it like eats my grenade or something. so now i have like no grenades cause the damn obelisk ate them all.

The tharangen obelisk reacted to plasma grenades, I think. Was it taking all your grenades followed by them disappearing from the obelisk's inventory?

That door should close as soon as you enter. You haven't employed any cheats, have you? Because it appears that the game isn't perceiving that you're actually in the room where the computer is.

the therangen obelisk only reacts to plasma? thats strange, because it ate about three of those too. and no, i havent done any cheating, i didnt even know there were cheats to do.

The therangen obelisk worked with disintegration (I don't know if thats the right word, my game is in spanish) grenades for me, just with one. Regarding the terminal on the three-pillar room, it should still work, since a dialog box, not a computer box opens after you click on it. By the way, i once had that problem in which the game forgets you clicked on something and afterwards does not allow you to click on anything (it happened when clicking on the computer of the sith academy interrogation room). Luck

yea, i noticed it happened about the time around with the sith interrogation room, although i have a save before i walk into the room and it still happens.
and with the room with the three pillars, the cutscene never comes up, and im free to walk through both doors to get the sword beyond which is strangely wierd. i also cant get the "acid pool" cutscene to activate itself

By the way, i believe it is unnecesary to enter the room behind the three electric pillars

yea its just naga sadows poison sword, but im stuck inside the tomb now because the acid pool cutscene wont happen for some reason.
oh well, i went out and picked up KOTOR II, and i saw my brother beat this one twice so i guess i dont really need to beat it.
