i importeda character from Baldur's Gate TOB and am now playing SOA. She is up to 295000 points and is a level 17 mage. I need 3000000 points to level up but she wont increase in experience points even thought the rest of my characters do. She's got level 9 spells memorized in the spell book and i could use them in TOB but there are no blocks to be filled on the right page of the book so that i can use them in SOA. Does anyone know why this is happening and/or how to fix it?

You didn't uninstall TOB did you? That would probably reinstate the old limit. Don't know why it's different for the party though.
