Aryon problem

Post by edrew1 »

I'm on the telvanni hort mission and the first time thru I killed Aryon. I didn't realize I needed to get the hort item from him. Please tell me I don't have to start over. Thanks

You are screwed. You can do the alternate main quest if you like, but that is not recommended.

Umm, if you're on PC, you're not screwed at all. Just go to Aryon's chambers and open the console (~). Stand where Aryon used to be and type the following:
Placeatpc"aryon00000000",1,1,1

This sometimes crashes the comp, so save first, but with all probability it will bring Aryon back from the dead
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.
If you've got the feeling, Jump across the ceiling.

Though, doesn't the body still have to be there?
I seem to recall reading that if you have hit "dispose of corpse," you sort of are up the proverbial creek without the proverbial paddle.

Of course, the best policy is just to not go around indiscriminately bumping off NPCs. The game allows you to do it, but you can also end up paying dearly for your actions :p
