I beta the Red Eclipse guys and exited the ebon hawk, but I never got a commlink transmit. What happened? I don't know what to do, has anyone else even heard of this problem? How do I proceed?

just run around for a bit. up to the end of the platform or into another zone and back. that may help or you may have a bug.

So if I got a bug I'm screwed right, I have to re-start?

That's why you always keep multiple saves. If you have em try loading an earlier save and not the one you're using now,check the walkthrough and see if you forgot something,and try going to another area and coming back.

You get the commlink message when you a) made the exchange really angry or b) when you do a lot of things in their favor. In the entrance hall of the cantina there is a small alien that can tell you what the exchange thinks of you.

Nope. You get the Red Eclipse when you have annoyed/ impressed the exchange sufficiently. You get Visquis' message when you have defeated the Red Eclipse leader Cahhmakt. It's a simple , linear chain of events.

So, if you get the Red Eclipse but not Visquis' message then running around Nar Shaddaa trying to do things to get the exchange's attention is a waste of time; you already have it. That event trigger has already fired successfully. The trigger that didn't fire successfully is the death of Cahhmakt, and that is the part of the game that has to be replayed, assuming you have a savegame from the appropriate point.

I've almost never killed him; I tell him his life is mine, whether he thinks it is or not, and make him pay me tribute. But I never once had a problem getting the message from Visquis.

okay, its happening agin, ive replayed the part three times as a LS female (unlike when it worked when i was a DS male) now and it wont work at first i thought it was because of cut scenes on the ebon hawk, but i finished with those. Perhaps it's a side quest tha tconflicts somehow or gets in the way? I don't know. It doesn't make any sense to me. There's obviously a bug, but i can't seem to fix it, I don't knwo what to do. ANyone got any ideas what could be causing it?

major bug all u can do is restart the game from a previous save

and if that doesnt work it looks like its back to peraugus

It took 8 different combinations of quests for notoriety to get it to work, but I DID it. I kept restarting from the beginning of Nar Shaadaa. I think it had something to do with outstanding sidequests. Cuz the only time it worked was when all the notoriety sidequests I had taken on were finished when I attacked the slavers....

Oh well, jus tanother KoToR II bug..... kinda annoying, but alas, stil la good game

Usually you guys would be right about the Red Eclipse being the part of the final section of Nar Shaddaa, but not in my recent game. I beat them, but still had to do around 3 quests to get their attention. I was DS this time by the way. Maybe that had something to do with it.

I think u always get red slaver after u leave the refugea quad
