Two handed swords or Halberds?

This question is relating to a fighter, which one is better, two handed swords or Halberds, and why. If you had to grand master in one of them, which would it be?
Two-handers. There are few really good halberds in the game (though one of 'em is excellent), while there are quite a few excellent two-handed swords lying around.
Of course, bear in mind that Saverok (assuming you add him to your party) is a grandmaster in two-handers, so you may want to consider focusing, instead, on 1-handed swords, and put only a point or two of proficiency in two-handers.
