Druid Grove bug?

I'm now i chapter 7 or 8. can't remember atm
anyways, i'm back in druid grove wanting that leader of the grove position that you have to be level 14 to get. However when i talk to the guy standing there... the only reply option i get when he ask for challengers is no one wants to challenge.
Any way to fix this in shadowkeeper or something?

You're a druid, right? Because the only way you can challenge him is if you, the PC, are a druid.

And Faldorn has to be dead before you take over.

I'm having the same prob
I'm in chapter 6 and having the same prob. I only have Jaheira in my party (no Cernd), and I figured she wasn't permitted to challenge due to the loss of her Harper status (just guessing), as I haven't finished that part of the storyline yet.

I doubt that would have any effect. She's a druid still, after all. Talk to Cernd again and if neccesary replace Jaheira temporarily.

Only the player character can challenge for leadership of the cove as a stronghold, so Jaheria can't be the leader of the cove. (Just like with the keep, playhouse, planar sphere and so on...)
Only exception to this is for the quest to defeat Feldaron where you can challenge her with any druid NPC as well, although this isn't actually for leadership of the cove.
If you don't get the option to challenge with Jaheria (or Cernd) in this situtaion, then perhaps she is to far away, and try moving her closer.
If not - it seems like you encountered some bug.
