DnD over AOL Instant Messenger

I am looking for people to play DnD with through AIM. In AIM chat rooms, it turns out there is a dice rolling program(only in chat rooms, not in instant messeging). You just have to type //roll-dice#-sides# (# being the amount of dice or sides.) So if you are interested, reply to this message, or IM me on AIM: megamoobymuffin6. Thanks!

You might look into a program called
OpenRPG , as well. It's free and, from my experience with online campaigns, is much more efficient than AIM chatrooms (which tend to have far more connectivity problems, among other limitations). OpenRPG lets you use maps, icons, stat sheets, and other things.

Not particularly ok with AIM. I never liked using chatrooms for that kinda stuff. However, this forum has a gaming are of its own, you can game here and I'd love to play. Also, my forum is an option, as it's based solely around DND.

Yeah...but I play PbP and it goes extremely slow. As a DM I got us through one day in nearly 35 pages of posting.

I'm very interested in this. I have done it before and it went really well. I enjoyed it and so did everyone else, but since then the group has had some...problems. People can't get along and others simply couldn't find the time. I am in need of a new group, and considering there is none in my area, online is my only choice.

@Baron, there's no need to create a new thread about D&D over instant messengers when one not only exists but you have posted in.
To answer your question though, I believe Demortis is preparing for a game. Give him a PM and tell him your interested.
