Looks like aramant found out something great!!!!

This is from his post in the twisted rune thread on this forum.

I guess. I'm honestly not sure. Every time it would hit, it would say "Weapon Ineffective", and then on the next line it said "Pit Fiend: Damage Taken: etc, etc". I'm not sure if it was the fire damage, or if it's holy fire, or just the magical bonus, but it works. I guess it pays off to hoarde random stuff.
--------------------

Everyone knows that pit fiends are fire based and take no damage from fire, but it looks like sunstone bullets are not completely firebased. Name might be a clue. SUN stone.

could they also be great against undead as well?

Now we know why you can find some in the upper levels of the watchers keep, demon haven of faerun.

Looks like we have ranged anti demon stuff here, folks!!

Someone good with inf exlorer can take a look at the weapon.

Well, my fav tech against demons is to use summons, and my party stays back and snipes. looks like though I was sniping with the wrong ammo, eh?

Not totally,

hee hee!

Sunstone bullets do a nice consistant 14 point of damage per hit. makes chromatic demon dead easy, eager to try it out!

no other weapon does that, except certain spells. abu dahizim, for example.
