Does inflict wounds work?
I just became a deathlord and increased the skill to level 6.
After several melee conflicts, I really don't see any extra effect from this skill.
Could anyone who has played the game with this skill please let me know if it does work and how to tell when it is occuring?
Thanks.

I am at level 5 on inflict wounds. I am pretty sure it works. I hit a dungeon ghoul and moved onto another, closer target, as I was whacking away at the new target, the ghoul spurted blood and died...looks like "inflict wounds" to me. I think the real problem with this skill is that adversaries rarely last long enogh for the skill to have any noticeable effect.

Inflict wounds definitely works. Used it quite a bit.

Great, thanks.
I still can't seem to make it work.
Maybe I'm using the wrong weapons?
I'm in the naga temple, and I hit a naga a couple of times, just to wound it but not kill it.
I then step back and block and wait for the bleeding damage, but it never works.
Does this skill only work with certain weapons?

Is it a passive (like dual wield) or active skill (like spell casting) ?

I would say it is a passive skill.

It is a passive skill, but it is very possible that it is weapon specific. I have always had sucess with sword/bladed weapons with it, so you may want to try using those types of weapons.
